Last December, MONAT Gratitude, the philanthropic movement behind MONAT Global hosted its fifth-annual Gratitude Week with the focus of helping others and making local communities a better place.
Over the last five years, MONAT Gratitude Week has become a very special tradition and has inspired members of the MONAT family to get involved and take action in their local communities. In commemoration of MONAT Chairman Sr. Luis Urdaneta’s birthday, December 5th, Gratitude Week is all about his wish to focus on helping others and local communities across the world.
Over 1,500 MONAT Market Partners and Employees around the world took action to celebrate the 5th Annual Gratitude Week
MONAT Gratitude is a very special piece of the MONAT culture where we seek to instill the values of giving back not only in our corporate offices, but also in our Market Partners all over the world.
This year Market Partners and employees of the Miami-based company joined forces in effort to benefit local non-profit organizations and spread gratitude throughout the United States, Canada, United Kingdom and, for the first time, Ireland and Poland.
MONAT Home Offices Volunteer to Impact Hundreds in Need
One of the largest efforts that took place during Gratitude Week was a holiday lunch at Miami-based Lotus House, an organization that is dedicated to improving the lives of homeless women, youth and children.
The MONAT team created a fine dining experience and served over 200 women living in the shelter.
Guests enjoyed live music and a gourmet menu prepared by nonprofit partner Recipes for Change. Each guest received two special gifts from the MONAT Skincare line.
Further North, MONAT Canada hosted “Snacks & Ladders”, a night of hot chocolate, board games, pizza, and other fun activities for the youth of our nonprofit partner Big Brothers Big Sisters of York! During this event, a donation of $4,000 CAD was made to the organization.
In the United Kingdom, Market Partners collaborated with The TOY Project, a non profit organization giving toys to children of families in need.

On the heels of MONAT’s recent expansion to Ireland and Poland, local Market Partners have already begun making a difference in the community in both countries, hosting toy drives that benefited charities in their local communities.
